Hi, I'm Meli. A mom, just like you. My days start with the early morning pitter-patter of little feet, juggling breakfast battles, kindergarten drop-offs, and reheating my coffee-twice! Life with my boys, who are six and four, is a whirlwind of hugs, spills, and everyday magic of motherhood.




As a family photographer in the Chicago suburbs, I believe that the best photos come from those moments that don't seem to be photograph worthy. Whether is the spontaneous dancing, or the rare moments when the siblings play nicely together. So, imagine this - you've spent the morning getting everyone dressed, making sure the outfits are just right, and now you're on the way to your session. But in the back of your mind, you're already bracing yourself...Will my kids cooperate? What if they refuse to smile? What if they run in the opposite direction?

That's where I come in.

The beauty of what I do is that I DO NOT expect kids to sit still and pose perfectly - and honestly, I don't want them to. Instead of forcing stiff smiles, I create a playful, relaxed environment where children can be themselves. I'll engage them with silly prompts, playful games, and just enough guidance to bring out their natural personalities. Whether it's a round of "Simon Says" to get then giggling, a little race to burn off energy, or whispering a "secret mission" in their ear to bring out those sweet, candid expressions - trust me, I've got plenty of tricks up my sleeve.

Your only job? To be present and soak in the moment. I'll take care of everything else. So let go of the stress - I promise, we're going to create something beautiful together.
